Ledra - IMO 1008322

LEDRA is a 47.5-metre luxury motor yacht built in Italy in 2004 by ISA Yachts – International Shipyards Ancona. She was originally delivered as ELLIX TOO and carried that name for approximately ten years before becoming LEDRA in 2014. The yacht was designed inside and out by Walter Franchini, while ISA Yachts was responsible for the naval architecture.

An important point for the PiraeuShips card is her actual size. Some AIS websites display LEDRA as only 41 metres long, but this is essentially her waterline length. The official ISA specification gives an overall length of 47.5 m, with YachtBuyer giving an LWL of about 41 m. Her beam is 8.90 m, gross tonnage 498 GT, and the yacht has a steel displacement hull with an aluminium superstructure.

From ELLIX TOO to LEDRA

The yacht was launched and delivered in 2004 as ELLIX TOO. Contemporary records from her early career show her under the Cayman Islands flag with MMSI 319056000 and call sign ZCNV7. Her original specifications already included the same twin MTU 12V4000M70 engines, 498 GT and accommodation for 12 guests and nine crew members.

The name changed to LEDRA in 2014. Shipspotting records the former ELLIX TOO identity until July 2014, while yacht-market sources also identify LEDRA's launch name as ELLIX TOO.

Her name history is therefore:

ELLIX TOO → LEDRA

A substantial refit in 2015 modernised the yacht, and current specialist yacht sources continue to list her as a 2004/2015 ISA 470.

Design and Accommodation

LEDRA is a full-displacement superyacht with a relatively large 498 GT internal volume for her 47.5-metre length. She accommodates 12 guests in six cabins, with a crew of nine. ISA specifically highlights the owner's suite on the upper deck, including a private terrace.

The vessel has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, while her twin MTU engines give a maximum speed of around 17 knots. Yacht-market specifications quote a cruising range of approximately 3,700 nautical miles, making her suitable for extended Mediterranean cruising.

Current Status

LEDRA remains active in 2026 under the Malta flag, using MMSI 256342000 and call sign 9HA3635. VesselFinder currently records her as a 2004-built yacht of 498 GT and 80 dwt.

The yacht is also currently being marketed for sale by yacht-industry sources at an asking price of approximately €9.85 million.

Piraeus Connection

LEDRA has a particularly strong modern connection with the Piraeus–Faliro area.

She was photographed in the Piraeus area on 16 February 2018 under the LEDRA name.

The connection remains active today. AIS history for the past year records Faliro as her most frequently visited port, with six arrivals, as well as a call at Perama. In 2026, LEDRA was recorded at Faliro from 28 June until 2 July, before departing for the Greek islands.

This makes LEDRA more than an occasional Piraeus visitor; the wider Piraeus/Faliro area clearly forms an important base in her recent Greek operations.

PiraeuShips Record

LEDRA was recorded in the Piraeus area by PiraeuShips after her transformation from ELLIX TOO into her present identity. Built by ISA Yachts in 2004, the 47.5-metre superyacht has since developed a particularly strong connection with Piraeus and Faliro, where she continues to appear regularly more than twenty years after delivery. The PiraeuShips recording forms part of the visual history of large private yachts using the wider Piraeus maritime area.
