ARCADIA is a Greek-flagged oil/chemical products tanker operated by AVIN Hellas Shipping Co. and closely associated with the Piraeus bunkering and coastal fuel-distribution market. Built in Türkiye in 2006, the vessel has spent almost her entire career in Greek waters and remains active in 2026, regularly serving destinations such as Piraeus, Agioi Theodoroi, Kalymnos, Chania and other Greek ports.
At just over 76 metres in length and 2,000 dwt, ARCADIA is considerably smaller than AVIN's deep-sea tanker fleet. Her size makes her particularly suitable for regional oil-product transport and bunker-related operations between refineries, islands and Greek ports. History
The tanker was completed in 2006 at Turkoglu Shipyard in Istanbul. Historical ship records identify BEGUM K as her earliest name, while various databases subsequently record short-lived identities including ARCAD, ARCA2 and M/T ARCADIA before the present ARCADIA name became established.
The ownership history is clearer. Historical records indicate Kastoria Shipping Co. as an early registered owner, while by 2011 the vessel was registered to Foinikas Shipping Co., under the care and management of AVIN. Current 2026 databases continue to identify Foinikas Shipping Co. as registered owner and AVIN Hellas Shipping Co. as both commercial and ISM manager.
So for the present PiraeuShips page I would not simply write:

but rather:
Registered Owner: Foinikas Shipping Co.
Manager / ISM Manager: AVIN Hellas Shipping Co.
That is more precise.
Greek Coastal Service
Unlike AVIN's large crude-oil tankers, ARCADIA is essentially a Greek regional tanker. Recent port-call information records operations involving Agioi Theodoroi, Souda/Chania, Sousaki, Kalamaki and other domestic destinations.
The vessel was photographed discharging fuel at Agios Onoufrios near Chania in April 2017, illustrating the type of island and coastal fuel-distribution work for which ships of this size are particularly useful.
The connection continues in 2026. AIS data records ARCADIA at Piraeus on 13–14 August 2026, while in early September she operated between Agioi Theodoroi and Kalymnos. Current tracking on 10 September still identifies her as active in the Aegean.
Piraeus Connection
ARCADIA has one of the clearer Piraeus links among the smaller tankers in the archive. She is Greek flagged, registered at Piraeus, AVIN-managed, and has repeatedly operated through the wider Piraeus/refinery network during her career.
Your original PiraeuShips entry from June 2018 already records her with the same IMO, MMSI, dimensions, Greek flag and AVIN association.
