Some historical AIS databases contain abbreviated or temporary variations of the name, but CORVETTE is the principal original commercial identity documented in current registry history.

Becoming HANSA NEUBURG

1,740 TEU.

Ships of this size play a different role from 15,000- or 24,000-TEU mega-containerships.

Their primary function is to connect:

major hub ports,

secondary Mediterranean ports,

Atlantic destinations,

and smaller regional terminals.

A more substantial ownership and identity change followed in:

October 2023.

The vessel was renamed:

and Caribbean destinations.

PiraeuShips Record

HANSA NEUBURG was recorded by PiraeuShips during a completed German-managed chapter in the career of this Chinese-built feeder containership. Built by Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard in 2010 and originally delivered as CORVETTE, the approximately 1,740-TEU vessel became HANSA NEUBURG in 2015 and retained that name until 2021. After a short period as NEUBURG, she was renamed CTM ISTMO in 2023 and transferred to the Panama flag under Transportes Marítimos del Atlántico interests. Still fully active in 2026, IMO 9430870 continues regional and Atlantic container trading, making the PiraeuShips footage a record of an identity that has now disappeared from the vessel's hull.
