AMELIE BORCHARD, today sailing as ATLANTIC GREEN, is a German-built feeder containership completed in 2006 by J.J. Sietas Schiffswerft in Hamburg. The ship carried the AMELIE BORCHARD name for only a short period, from September 2018 until July 2019, while employed by Borchard Lines. This makes the PiraeuShips recording particularly interesting, as it preserves an identity that lasted for less than a year.
The vessel is a Sietas Type 168 feeder containership, measuring 134.44 metres in length and 22.50 metres in beam, with a capacity of 868 TEU. She was launched on 9 June 2006 and delivered on 10 August 2006 as EUPHORIA. Her MaK 9M43 main engine develops 8,400 kW, giving an original service speed of about 18.5 knots.

History
The vessel entered service in 2006 as EUPHORIA, originally under the Antigua & Barbuda flag. In September 2009 she became WEC VAN EYCK while employed by WEC Lines, before reverting to a variation of her original identity as BF EUPHORIA in December 2011.
In November 2015 she was sold and renamed MAX LOYALTY, sailing under the Maltese flag. Another ownership change followed in August 2018, when she was acquired by Four Silver S.A., transferred to the Liberian flag and initially renamed ATLANTIC GREEN.
Only about a month later, in September 2018, the ship was renamed AMELIE BORCHARD for charter employment with Borchard Lines. That name lasted until July 2019, when she reverted to ATLANTIC GREEN.
Her proper name history is therefore:
EUPHORIA → WEC VAN EYCK → BF EUPHORIA → MAX LOYALTY → ATLANTIC GREEN → AMELIE BORCHARD → ATLANTIC GREEN
Current Status
ATLANTIC GREEN remains active in 2026. She has since transferred to the Singapore flag, with MMSI 563143400 and call sign 9V7598. Current vessel records identify Silver Maritime Pte Ltd. of Singapore as both owner and manager, with Bureau Veritas as classification society.
Recent AIS data in September 2026 shows ATLANTIC GREEN at Yalova, Türkiye, confirming that the 20-year-old feeder remains in commercial service.
Piraeus Connection
AMELIE BORCHARD forms part of the PiraeuShips archive from 2018, when the vessel was recorded under this short-lived Borchard Lines identity. At the time she correctly carried the Liberian flag, MMSI 636018835 and the AMELIE BORCHARD name.
Because this identity survived for less than a year, the original PiraeuShips footage now documents a particularly brief chapter in the ship's career.
PiraeuShips Record
AMELIE BORCHARD was recorded at Piraeus by PiraeuShips during the vessel's brief 2018–2019 charter period with Borchard Lines. Built in Hamburg in 2006 as EUPHORIA, the 868-TEU feeder carried several names during her career before becoming AMELIE BORCHARD in September 2018. She reverted to ATLANTIC GREEN in July 2019 and remains active today under the Singapore flag. The PiraeuShips footage therefore preserves one of the shortest-lived identities carried by IMO 9354404.
