MAGIC 5 is a high-speed passenger catamaran operated by Magic Sea Ferries in the Saronic Gulf. Built in 2025, the vessel is one of the newest passenger craft serving from Piraeus and has a capacity of 312 passengers, all accommodated in airline-style seating. During the 2026 season, MAGIC 5 was deployed on services linking Piraeus with Aegina and Skala Agistri, strengthening Magic Sea Ferries’ presence on the Saronic routes.
The vessel was originally built as MAJESTIC DYNAMIC for Singapore-based Majestic Fast Ferry. She was constructed at Cahaya Samudra Shipyard in Indonesia, as hull AL061, and delivered in September 2025. MAGIC 5 measures 39 metres in length and 10 metres in beam, with a gross tonnage of 397 GT and deadweight of about 40 tonnes. Propulsion is provided by two MTU 16V 2000 M72 main engines developing a combined 2,880 kW, giving a service speed of approximately 28 knots. The vessel is classed by Bureau Veritas.
After her acquisition by Magic Sea Ferries, the catamaran arrived in Greece on 24 January 2026, transported aboard the general cargo vessel Lady Luciana. She subsequently took the name MAGIC 5 and joined the company’s expanding high-speed fleet.

History
MAGIC 5 represents an interesting example of a virtually new vessel transferred directly from the Southeast Asian fast-ferry market to Greek domestic service. Built for Majestic Fast Ferry as MAJESTIC DYNAMIC in 2025, she spent only a short period under her original identity before being acquired for operation in Greece. Her entry into service from Piraeus in 2026 added another modern high-speed passenger vessel to the increasingly competitive Piraeus–Aegina–Agistri market.
